A few months ago, I had a small bottle of Young Living’s Stress Away essential oil sitting on my counter completely untouched. Being obsessed with Lavender at the time and using it every night in our diffusers to help with sleep, I hadn’t payed much attention to the little green bottle of the Young Living’s essential oil blend.
One evening my son asked “Mom can I diffuse a different oil tonight?” What?? Uh oh! “What oil was going to calm, and relax my son at night like Lavender?” I anxiously thought.
Since I didn’t have much of a choice in oils at the time (using many of them up giving samples out!). I did some research and here is what I found on the Young Living website:
“Young Living’s Stress Away™ essential oil blend is a natural solution created to combat normal stresses that creep into everyday life. Stress Away is the first product to contain the unique stress-relieving combination of lime and vanilla pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils. Stress Away also includes copaiba and lavender to reduce mental rigidity and restore equilibrium. Featuring powerful plant constituents, such as the cedrol found in cedarwood and the eugenol that occurs naturally in vanilla, Stress Away can help induce relaxation and reduce occasional nervous tension.” -Young Living
Yup, that’ll do it! So I started with 5 drops into my son’s diffuser and the smell was nothing short of amazing! The aroma does not smell like Lavender at all. Stress Away is a blend of oils that contains cedarwood, copaiba, vanilla, lime, ocotea and also lavender. The smell, however, is woodsy, earthy and just plain beautiful.
The final verdict: my son loves it and he was enjoying the aroma in dreamland within seconds! We have been using this oil at nighttime ever since.
